Optimize your website with this handy checklist!

Happy March! I hope things are going super well for you in business and life these days.

This month, I'd like to share a quick, easy, and practical checklist for optimizing your website content so you can get more visitors and generate more sales.

  1. If you have a blog, have you posted in the past month? If not, visitors will get the impression that your content is stale. Need a quick idea? Share about a recent success story you’ve had with a client or project. Share some tips related to your services for the Spring season. Answer a frequently asked question you receive.

  2. Is your site showing any expired offerings or events? If the date has passed, remove the event from your site. If you’re planning to run the event again, remove the dates and write “stay tuned for upcoming dates.” Or better yet, ask them to join your mailing list to receive first notice.

  3. Are the descriptions of your services up-to-date? If you’ve made changes recently, be sure update them on your site.

  4. Is your contact information current? Be sure your phone number, e-mail address, and mailing address are updated and easy to find in your footer and on your contact page.

  5. Are all of your links active? Take a few minutes to go through your site, test each one, and fix any broken links.

  6. Is your website content is feeling stale or outdated? Get in touch! I’m happy to schedule a no-cost consultation with you to discuss your content strategy and outline how to bring new life to your website or blog.
